Acme Studio

Acme Writing Tools come with a one year warranty for any manufacturer's defects. Please note that damaged lacquer is not covered by their warranty. Use of generic or non-Acme brand refills may automatically voids this warranty. To make use of the Acme warranty service you may return your Acme Writing Tool directly to Acme Studios Inc. within one year of purchase along with a dated proof of purchase and $11.95 USD for return shipping and handling. After one year, any Acme Writing Tool is not covered under the warranty but may be repaired. Please refer to their Acme Repair and Refurbishing Service page for details.

Aurora Pens

Aurora pens have a two year warranty against any manufacturer’s defects. After two years, any Aurora pen is not covered under warranty, but will gladly be repaired.

Benu

All Benu pens have a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Bexley

Bexley strives to create products of outstanding quality, and wants you to be satisfied with your Bexley writing instrument. When you purchase a new Bexley product, it is important that you complete the enclosed registration certificate, and mail it to Bexley so that you are recorded as the "original registered owner" for warranty purposes. Their warranty policy is: All products manufactured by the Bexley Pen Company, Inc. are warranted to the original registered owner, for normal use, against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, provided any service is done by an authorized Bexley Service Technician. This warranty specifically excludes normal wear and tear, intentional misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental breakage, or product loss.

Caran d'Ache

Caran d’Ache writing instruments are covered by a lifetime guarantee against all material and manufacturing defects, or a two-year guarantee in the case of models decorated with Swarovski crystals. Leather goods and jewelry are covered by a one-year guarantee.

The guarantee does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, damage arising from improper use or shocks, or loss. Furthermore, the guarantee does not cover leads, erasers, ink refills, or personalized decoration.

Conklin

Conklin writing instruments are guaranteed against mechanical failure due to faulty materials or workmanship throughout the life of the original owner. Conklin will repair or replace, at their option, any product that is found to be defective in materials or workmanship when it is properly returned to the Conklin repair department. Any product that is no longer in production, and connote be repaired, will be replaced with a comparable Conklin product of their choice. This warranty does not apply to products (including nibs) which have been lost, altered, broken or damaged by misuse, accident, failure to follow instructions, or improper service or repair by any other than the Conklin repair department. This warranty does not cover normal wear including scratched, used fountain pen nibs, and refills of any kind.

For this warranty to apply, purchase must have been made from YAFA or an authorized dealer and you must have the proof of purchase and/or properly registered your product with Conklin.

Only authentic Conklin products will be warranted.

De Atramentis

For the consumer the limitation of claim for defects of new goods is two years beginning from the day of delivery to the customer. Of used goods is one year beginning from the day of delivery to the customer. Please refer to their warranty section for further details.

Diplomat

Every Diplomat pen undergoes manual testing to make sure writing performance is consistent and perfect. This rigor testing in the manufacturing process is why Diplomat provides a Five Year Warranty. Repair requests are taken care of by their experts at a small charge.

Faber Castell

Faber-Castell writing instruments requiring service should be sent to Faber-Castell for proper assessment. All Faber-Castell writing instruments or parts, which are found to contain a defect, material failure or mechanical malfunction throughout the course of normal use, within 2 years of purchase, are guaranteed. Writing instruments requiring service within this guarantee will be repaired or replaced at no charge. If a Faber-Castell writing instrument found within the guarantee cannot be repaired or replaced, a comparable writing instrument may be offered in its place.

Filofax

The Filofax brand was founded in 1921 with a goal of providing exceptional products which improve the lives of their customers. Throughout their history, and even more so today, they are confident that Filofax continues to deliver on its promise of providing the
very best in quality, style and functionality.

They are extremely confident that you will find your Filofax to be superbly made, however if a problem does arise you should know that Filofax warrants all of its Filofax branded products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) full year from the date of original purchase.

Should you experience any failure in workmanship, or materials, within the first full year of ownership, simply return your purchase to the address below. You will be required to provide proof of purchase and also provide for the initial cost of return shipping to their facility. If you do not have a proof of purchase, then the item you are returning must be currently in our range or currently listed on our website as a full priced item. If upon inspection they determine that your Filofax is defective, then they will agree to repair or replace it free of charge, and they will also refund up to $8.00 of the cost that you paid to return the item to them. The decision to repair or replace remains with them. As their models/styles/colors change frequently they will make every effort to replace your Filofax with one that is similar in style, size or color.

This limited one year warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, accident,
abuse or damage caused by improper handling, cleaning or care. Normal wear and tear may
include slight changes in the appearance of the leather, vinyl or fabric covering, Normal wear and tear may also produce scratches, scuffs, tears, cracks, creases, worn-edges, stains, fading or stretching. Snaps and zippers may also show wear and tear over time. Growth marks in leather are part of the natural beauty of leather products. While great care is taken to minimize the amount and appearance of growth marks, they cannot guarantee that natural products are totally free from these characteristics.

If they authorize the return of your product, they strongly recommend that you ship it to them using a service that provides tracking information for your package. Shipping in this manner will enable you to confirm the delivery of your package to their location. Filofax is not responsible for damage in transit, or lost shipments while inbound to our facility. Also, when returning your product, please include a brief note describing the exact nature of the problem, a copy of the original purchase receipt (if available), and your pertinent
contact information.

Franklin Covey

Defective product returned after 30 days but within 120 days will be replaced at no charge or the customer may elect to receive a full refund in the form of an online store credit. Receipt required. Due to the nature of the product, customized and personalized products (including FC Studio Planners) are not returnable. Jac Zagoory

Jac Zagoory Designs have a one year warranty against any manufacturer’s defects. After one year, any Jac Zagoory pen is not covered under warranty, but will gladly be repaired. Contact the USA distributor for further details.

Laban Pens

Laban pens are available through its exclusive contracted agents worldwide. Every Laban writing instrument comes in an attractively packaged gift box along with a handbook and international warranty certificate.

Laban writing instruments are unquestionably guaranteed against mechanical failures due to faulty materials or workmanship. Should any imperfection in workmanship or material appear for lifetime after the date of purchase, Laban will repair or replace, at its discretion, the parts or items free of charge when returned to any of the Laban authorized agents or dealers in the world.

Defects and damage caused by accidents, improper usage or maintenance, unreasonable or inconsistent with Laban’s instruction are not covered by this guarantee. Lead, erasers, and ink refills, exhausted in the course of normal use, are excluded from our warranty.

Do not let your sterling silver and silver-plated pens come in contact with any chemicals or moisture. If tarnishing occurs, use the silver polishing cloth to polish the pens.

Lamy Pens

All Lamy pens sold in the US carry the following warranty:

Lamy pen warranties its writing instruments for the life of the product**. If repair is required other than from abuse or misuse, then for a small handling and return postage charge of $9.50 per pen, Lamy products will repair, refurbish, and return any Lamy instrument. If other parts have been abused, there will be a special charge. Otherwise, there are no labor or parts charges.

**The Lamy warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized service and the use of other manufacturers refills or inks.

Metropolitan Museum

Metropolitan Museum of Art Writing Instruments are guaranteed for three years against mechanical defects.  Excluded from this warranty is damage that has occurred as a result of impact, misuse, abuse or unauthorized service.

The pen will either be repaired or replaced, at their option.  If the pen model is no longer in production and is not repairable, a pen of comparable value will be provided.

Our limited supplies of Mont Blanc fine writing instruments are the epitome of high-quality and class for which Mont Blanc is renown. All our Mont Blanc pens include their original boxes and paperwork. Goldspot is not an Authorized Dealer of Mont Blanc Pens; however, we offer a 30-day "unconditional guarantee of authenticity" and will provide a one year warranty for any manufacturing defects.

Montegrappa

Parker Pens

Your Parker pen is a life companion. Its timeless beauty and flawless structure does not alter the warranty service provided by Parker.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

This warranty is granted by Parker and applies in the US and Canada. Your Parker® writing instrument is guaranteed for two years from the date of original purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. If found to be defective within the warranty period, your Parker® product will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

This warranty does not cover routine maintenance, or damage resulting from the failure to maintain the product in accordance with instructions provided by Parker. This warranty also does not cover ordinary wear and tear arising from use of the product, or damage that may arise from accidental or intentional misuse or abuse, alteration or customization, or repair by unauthorized persons. This warranty also does not cover damage that is caused by the use of inks or refills other than those made by Parker.

Except as provided herein, and to the extent permitted by law, Parker makes no other warranties, express or implied, and Parker specifically excludes warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Parker's liability under this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of the writing instrument and Parker shall not be responsible under this warranty for any damages and/or incidental or consequential damages, whether or not foreseeable. Some products may be out of production or may be unable to be repaired. In that circumstance, Parker reserves the right to substitute a product of comparable value and style.

For service under this warranty, please return your pen to any authorized Parker service center, along with the original guarantee certificate duly completed by an authorized dealer or proof of purchase, such as a dated receipt showing the purchase of the product claimed. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights as a matter of law which vary from state to state and country to country and which are unaffected by this warranty, including (but not limited to) the legal warranties covering any consequences of defects whether or not visible in the product.

Pelikan

Pelikan writing instruments are processed carefully, assembled by hand, and finally checked for quality and functionality. This warrants the quality and reliability of the Pelikan writing instruments.

The Pelikan fountain pen is manufactured with the greatest precision. Each gold nib is polished and written by hand.

The warranty for material and production defects is 3 years from date of purchase for each Pelikan writing instrument. The warranty excludes normal wear and tear and becomes null and void if the writing instrument has been used inappropriately, manipulated by third parties, is lost, or will be used in combination with other than Pelikan accessories.

Pilot / Namiki

Namiki Emperor, Yukari Royale, Yukari Collection and Chinkin writing instruments are unconditionally guaranteed against failures due to faulty materials or workmanship throughout the life with the original owner. The balance of Namiki and premium Pilot product collections are guaranteed against mechanical failure for a full 3 years from the date of purchase.*

Leads, erasers, and ink refills, exhausted in the course of normal use, are excluded from this Guarantee. Also excluded are fountain pen nibs and other parts damaged from impact, unreasonable use, obvious misuse or abuse. We recommend that you use Namiki inks and Pilot refills, leads and erasers to ensure a proper long-term functioning of your Pilot writing instrument.

In the unlikely event that you experience a mechanical failure with any Namiki writing instrument, Pilot will repair it or replace it without charge. If repair is required, please send your writing instrument to:

Pineider

2-Year International Limited Warranty. Any original Pineider product is covered by a warranty of 2 (two) years. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase by the first owner of a brand new, never used product.

Pineider’s warranty, outlined in the warranty booklet included in the pen box, covers manufacturing and component defects only, and does not include damage due to the normal wear and tear, accidental fall, inappropriate or abusive use, direct contact with solvents and detergents, humidity, excessive exposure to direct sunlight or UV sources. The warranty does not cover damages arising from any alteration, service or repair performed by any party other than Pineider or a Pineider appointed service center.

Pineider will satisfy the Warranty obligations by repairing or substituting any material or manufacturing faults free of charge. Whenever a repair is not possible, Pineider will honor this warranty by replacing the item with the same, brand new product, or, when even this solution was impossible, with a product of the same value.

The ownership of any defective part repaired or substituted by Pineider during the lifetime of the present warranty shall transfer to Pineider and will not be returned to the end-user.

Porsche Design

The warranty for material and production defects is two years from date of purchase. If your writing instrument is in need of repair, please contact the Pelikan office in the respective country. Please send in the receipt of purchase for every repair request. The warranty excludes normal wear and tear becomes null and void if the writing instrument has been used inappropriately, manipulated by third parties, is lost or will be used in combination with other than Pelikan accessories. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Sailor

This Sailor Writing Instrument is warranted against original factory defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase from the original and Sailor Authorized retailer/vendor where the instrument was obtained. Should this instrument be found to have such a defect, it should be returned complete with all pen parts to the original and Sailor authorized retailer/vendor for processing. This original stamped/dated warranty document or the original sales receipt for the instrument must accompany the pen for any warranty or repair claims.  This warranty does not cover any defects or damage as a result of misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, tampering, and loss of original parts or reasonable wear and tear of normal use (which will be determined by Sailor). In such cases the standard repair and /or parts replacement charges will apply. This warranty is not applicable to product originally purchased through unauthorized retailer/vendors.

Kindly also note that Sailor do not have a Nib exchange policy for new pens and it is important to ensure that the correct nib choice is made at the original purchase of the product.

Visconti pens are synonymous with style, innovation and quality. Each Visconti pen comes with our manufacturer warranty and is covered between 2 years and a lifetime, depending on the pen type purchased. The warranty covers all mechanical defects and defects in workmanship. Of course from time to time repairs will be necessary. Please note that proof of purchase, including date of purchase, is required for a repair to be covered under the warranty for any non-numbered regular edition pen.

Please note that damaged fountain nibs, pen caps and pen bodies arising from misuse are not covered by the warranty. Additional charges at the discretion of the manufacturer may apply for pens out of warranty of pens damaged due to misuse.
